SIEG X3 MILL

The SIEG X3 mill is a small milling machine for the modelmaker or precision machinist. The mill uses a 600 watt DC motor controlled by electronics mounted in the column cover. The 2 speed gearbox allows maximum speed ranges of either 1000 rpm or 2000 rpm. Controls are mounted on the right hand side of the column and include ON/OFF. REVERSE/FORWARD switches and SPEED potentiometer. A safety cut-out with indicators is within easy reach. Head rise and fall (Z axis) is controlled by calibrated hand wheel in 0.02mm divisions at the front RH of the machine. The X and Y leadscrew handwheels are also calibrated in 0.02mm divisions. The quill feed handle is calibrated in 1mm increments. A quill lock is provided for setting quill height. Solidly constructed throughout from cast iron and steel. Supplied with drawbar, and drill chuck and a range of tools for setting up and adjusting the machine.
